Floor Element Production Line CAD/CAM
A CAD/CAM controlled production line for manufacturing of floor elements. The equipment can handle steel beams or wooden beams, the video shows production of floor elements with steel beams. The production line contains two framing stations (framing jigs), automatic sheet handler, multi function working bridge and transport stations.
The framing stations sets up automatically with support units according to CAD-file the frame work is then easily and precise assembled by operators in the machine. Then the working bridge puts on the glue on the floor element frame work. After this the automatic sheet handler places and exact positions the sheets (put together the tang and grove) on the floor element. The next sequences, also performed by working bridge, are nailing/screwing, marking, sawing and milling. The marking is done by an ink-jet and it marks positioning lines and writes text. Finally the floor element is transported on a number of transport stations to the stock.
The working bridge is designed to be able to run over both of the two framing stations, thus while the operators assemblies floor elements in one framings station the working bridge operates over the other, the next production cycle is done vice versa in order to maximize the utilization of the machines and to increase the capacity.
